I'm just wondering how many of those injured in the Aurora, Colo. shooting who had no or inadequate health insurance are saying to themselves, "Gee, I'm glad I have no insurance!" Not many, I'll bet.

Some of them, no doubt, made a choice not to carry health insurance, thinking they were young and chances of needing it were not great. Others may have been cut out of having it due to pre-existing conditions or the cost of obtaining insurance.

Remember, no one ever knows when something will happen. In the end, we all pay for those who have no insurance and need care.
