Carroll and Jane Potts of Quaker Hill are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Potts, to Michael Fernandes, son of Louis and Laurel Fernandes of Pawcatuck.

Carrie, a 2004 graduate of Waterford High School and the University of Connecticut in 2010, is employed as a financial aid representative at Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute in New London.

Michael, a 2004 graduate of Stonington High School and New England Institute of Technology in 2010, is employed as a certified Yamaha outboard master technician at Norwest Marine, Inc. in Pawcatuck.

Their wedding will be held in November 2012 in North Stonington.
