The Ninety Nine Restaurant in Norwich is holding a silent auction through Aug. 15 to raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Connecticut and the Stanton School. The restaurant is auctioning off plaques and memorabilia that have decorated the Ninety Nine's walls over the years.

"We are passionate about our relationship with the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern CT and place a high value on education, so we wanted to involve both groups as beneficiaries of our auction," said Carie Niles, general managing partner of the Norwich Ninety Nine.

The Ninety Nine is remodeling the look of the Norwich restaurant, which will be the first in the state to receive the most up-to-date amenities.

Renovations will be completed by Aug. 23 when the restaurant is due to reopen at 4 p.m. A check presentation will take place on Aug. 29.
