The windows were open, but the huge windshield made the truck like a greenhouse. I told the store employee.
He replied, "So what? If I say something the customer will get mad."
My girlfriend called the police. The dog's owner arrived before police. When I called over to the man about the dog, I was told to "mind my own business. I was only in there five minutes."
Please. We waited 10 minutes for you to come out.
People, please, dogs wear fur coats. We were warm in our air-conditioned car. When there's a heat wave or just hot and sunny, leave your dogs home for your five-minute errands. See them in five minutes when you get home.
My hope for this poor dog is that this was his last "five-minute errand" for the day.
And store employees, if you see something like this, report it. Think about all your customers and not just the bottom line.

Don't keep dogs in hot vehicles Once again, in the middle of a heat wave, while sitting in our air-conditioned car, a dog was sitting alone in a truck in front of us.
