Jeffrey B. Kindler, forced out as Pfizer Inc.'s chief executive two years ago, has taken on a new role as a partner in Lux Capital, the venture-capital firm said this week.
Lux said Kindler, a former executive with McDonald's, will be trying to find new healthcare investments as well as working with companies already in the firm's portfolio.
"Jeff has an appreciation for the intersection of novel science, product development and commercial transactions," Robert Paull, a
co-founder and managing partner at Lux, said in a statement.
Kindler also serves as senior adviser for Paragon Pharmaceuticals and director of Starboard Capital Partners.
