Salty songs at the CT River Museum

Maritime musician Geoff Kaufman (above) returns to the Connecticut River Museum's Thursdays at the Dock summer series on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Skilled in a variety of string instruments, Kaufman is known for his traditional maritime music, including sea chanties and ballads. His career spans 28 years, including 15 years as a member of the quartet Forebitter, based at Mystic Seaport.

Admission is $5 per person; museum members are admitted free. Cash bar and light snacks will be available.
