67 graduate from Basic Submarine School

Groton - Sixty-seven sailors, "Class 12360," USS George C. Marshall (SSBN-654), graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School Aug. 10.

Fire Control Technician Second Class Paul Peacock was the class honorman. Fireman Recruit Noah Allen received the Navy Core Values Award and Seaman Apprentice Roger Grant, the class leader, received the Heritage Award.

Aviation Metalsmith Second Class Brian Idom, Seaman Eric Curtin, Seaman Colby Cornwell, Seaman Jesse Combs, Yeoman First Class Terrance Brown, Electronics Technician First Class Brian Taylor, Aviation Machinist Mate First Class Andrew Hartwell, Aviation Maintenance Administrationman Second Class Derek Johnson, Seaman Cameron Meier, Seaman Kevin Dewitt, Seaman Recruit Benjamin Shamburger, Seaman Recruit Michael Hughes and Religious Program Specialist Second Class DeAngelo Wynn were graduates with distinction.
