Tuscan cuisine coming to Mystic

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will be welcoming La Luna Ristorante to Mystic with an official ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

La Luna, at 9 Whitehall Ave., is the second restaurant of Executive Chef Edgar Ortiz, who has operated his Branford location for more than 15 years and won accolades and awards for Tuscan cuisine.

Happy hour will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with free appetizers.

Restaurant hours will be 11:30 a.m. till closing Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. till closing Saturday and 10:30 a.m. till closing Sunday.
