Autumn on the Dock to Be Held at Newly Reopened Dock & Dine

The Estuary Council of Seniors, Inc., presents its eighth annual Autumn on the Dock"fundraiser at the newly reopened Dock & Dine Restaurant at Saybrook Point

(145 College Street, Old Saybrook) from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday,

Sept. 30. The evening will include live and silent auctions, wine tasting, and hors d'oeuvres. Among the hundreds of items to be auctioned off are a one-week stay at a Long Island Sound waterfront cottage, romantic getaways, a firetruck birthday party, theater tickets, a classic cocktail party for 20, hot air ballooning with champagne, an eight-hour carpentry workmanship, and jewelry, and more.

This event benefits the Esturary's Meals on Wheels and senior nutrition programs, which served 92,000 meals to more than 1,700 individuals last year.
