On Saturday, rap hero Nas will no doubt sell out the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods. After all, his 11 albums, including July's oft-venomous "Life is Good" (written after his divorce from Kelis), have moved more units than there are unsold copies of Snooki novels sitting in publishing house warehouses across the universe!

Yes, then, fans will doubtlessly hear such new Nas-ty ruminations as "Summer Smash" and "Bye Baby" as well as vintage hits like "Thugz Mansion," "I Can" and "Black Republican."

What would be pretty funny, though, is if Nas blew off the hip-hop material and, instead, refused to do anything but a replication of his two-minute cameo on the "Hawaii 5-0" television series. Two years ago, Nas played a parole violator on the program - and it was the best actor/musician crossover since Sir Paul "A Man For All Seasons" Scofield briefly replaced the late Ol' Dirty Bastard in the Wu Tang Clan.
