For the past 30 years I have known Chris Coutu. We lived in Taftville and grew up together, serving in the volunteer fire department and attending the same schools.

Chris is the type of friend who goes out of his way to help others when they are in need. He is loyal and when he commits to accomplishing a goal he puts 100 percent into it.

Earlier this year I was faced with the loss of my job and months of uncertainty. In this challenging position, I randomly bumped into Chris. Although he was going to a three-month training deployment with the military he went out of his way to help me. While in South Carolina he reached out to various parties and stood by my side thoughout the process. In the end people worked together and I now have a job to support my family.

There are many who say they are friends and will help. Chris is one of those who actually follows up with action and produces results. I hope you will join me and vote to send Chris Coutu to the state Senate in the 19th District. We can trust him.
