Dime Bank Foundation extends grant deadline

Dime Bank Foundation has extended its grant application deadline to Friday.

Organizations seeking to apply for a grant must possess a tax exempt 501(c)3 and be located in the greater New London County or Westerly/Pawcatuck areas.

Dime Bank established The Dime Foundation in 1998; enabling the bank to support and give back to the communities it serves.

Funding priorities include affordable housing; basic human services for those considered most at-risk, with emphasis on children, families, and/or the elderly at low-income levels; cultural enrichment programs, especially among disadvantaged populations; development/education, job training, or promotion of literacy, especially preventative programs that encourage self-sufficiency.
