Taftville VFW to honor veterans Nov. 19

Norwich — The Taftville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2212 will host a “We Honor Veterans” presentation by Hospice Southeastern Connecticut on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.

The program was launched by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs to focus more attention on the needs of veterans and support hospices in meeting those needs. The presentation, which is open to the public, is geared toward veterans and those who may need to coordinate care for a veteran in the future.
