Time to put election behind and cooperate

Now that the elections are over, I hope that both parties can put aside their differences and work together to solve our many problems. It is time for the branches of the government to work together. The president needs the cooperation of the Senate and Congress and they in turn require his assistance to put together a plan that will put this nation back on its feet. We need to stop fighting wars overseas that drain our most important resource: our young men and women. We need to provide people with the chance to work, have proper medical care, and education for our children. This can't happen if our political leaders become wrapped up in their own personal agendas. These are the things we both want and need so I implore the elected officials to get down to the nation's business and not their own.
