Students take work to the stage

Screenwriting students from the Town of Groton Parks & Recreation program will present staged readings of their works at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 27 and 28, at the Garde Arts Gallery at 305 State St. in New London. On Friday, short story writing students will have their works read aloud by actors at 6:30 p.m. The events will feature new works by writers ranging in age from middle school through adult. All of these presentations run under two hours.

Admission is free and the events are open to the public. Audience commentary will be welcome.
