Celebrate the harvest at the Pequot Museum

The Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center invites guests to a two-day celebration of the harvest on Friday, Nov. 23, and Saturday, Nov. 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Museum expert Leah Hopkins will demonstrate various traditional native cooking methods and techniques on the farmstead. Taste authentic Native Thanksgiving dishes while learning about the history of modern Thanksgiving Day traditions.

The event also will feature a silent auction and other activities in the Gathering Space, including $5 crafts.

The Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center is at 110 Pequot Trail, Mashantucket.
