Mother Nature put on quite an astronomical show Wednesday night. Not only was it a full moon but the planet Jupiter appeared in the sky in very close proximity to the moon.
I was covering NFA in the CIAC quarterfinal football game against Newtown in Newtown, but must have looked up to admire the view many, many times during the game. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I did not have a lot of time for astronomy covering the game and all, I botched the exposure and the moon is slightly over-exposed.
