George and Alice (Gaudreau) Litwin of Oakdale, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a party given by their children at the Groton Inn & Suites.

George and Alice were married on Sepbember 29, 1962, at St. John's Church in Uncasville, and have three children, Michael Litwin of Colchester, Brian Litwin of Oakdale, and Kristen Muench of Preston. They have seven grandchildren, Kevin, Justin, Alyson, Ryan, Jordan, Owen and Austin.
