New London — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Murphy-Rathbun Post 189 has planned several events for December.

Bingo is held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the post, 110 Garfield Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. There will be no Bingo on Dec. 25.

The monthly pasta night will be on Dec. 12, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for seniors age 55 and older. Take out is available. The building fund dinner dance will be on Dec. 15 at the post, 6 p.m. to midnight. Please RSVP to the ticket sellers.

The post is open Tuesday and Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Members of the post will meet Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m.; the House Committee will meet Dec. 26 at 7 p.m.; the Ladies Auxiliary will meet Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m.; and the Men’s Auxiliary will meet on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. All meetings are held at the post home and members are encouraged to attend.
