UConn is holding a press conference at 5 p.m. today at the XL Center in Hartford about the future of the men's basketball program.
Coach Kevin Ollie and athletic Warde Manuel will be there.
Word is the announcement will be about Ollie receiving a contract extension. Length is expected to be in the four to five year range, according to a source.
Ollie was given a seven-month contract when hired to replace Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun in September.
He has guided the Huskies to a 9-2 record. UConn plays Washington in Hartford at 7 p.m. tonight.
