Recently we all got to see the compassionate side of our president concerning his love for his daughters and all children in general. At the recent memorial service in Newtown the president mentioned we have to stop the senseless killing of defenseless people.

Having 13 grandchildren, I couldn't agree with him more, but I would like him and others who think like him to have the same compassion for unborn babies that will never be given the opportunity to attend pre-school or kindergarten like those beautiful innocent children (20) and staff slaughtered in Newtown.

Again, I will echo the president and say he's right, we should end "all" senseless killings.

Sadly, guns are needed to protect us from the wicked that live in this world. Sad, but true! Let's give the defenseless the same opportunities all of us have.
