    UConn women play Oregon

Fresh off its 61-35 win at No. 1 Stanford, the No. 2 UConn women's basketball team takes on another Pacific-12 Conference opponent, playing at Oregon at 3 p.m. today.

The game is on the Pac-12 Network, but will not be televised locally. It will be on WTIC (1080-AM) radio.

UConn (11-0) will likely by the No. 1 team when the polls come out today. Four players are scoring in double figures for the Huskies, led by sophomore Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis at 16.7 per game. Freshman Breanna Stewart is at 16.2 and 7.1 rebounds per game, junior Stefanie Dolson is averaging 11.5 points and 6.7 rebounds and junior Bria Hartley is scoring 10.1 per game. This will be UConn's first game against Oregon.

Oregon (2-9) is coached by Paul Westhead, who led the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA championship in 1980 with rookie Magic Johnson and also coached the Phoenix Mercury to the WNBA championship in 2007. He coached the Lakers from 1979-82 and the Chicago Bulls from 1982-83. Oregon freshman Jillian Alleyne is tied for the Div. I lead in rebounding average with 14.5 per game.
