Greg Warren does stand-up at Comix at Foxwoods

A tale of two personas: As most stand-ups do, Greg Warren plumbed his school years for his comedy. One of his most successful routines goes into how he was both a varsity wrestler and a band geek. The resulting "Flute Man" bit - which reflects on trying to be cool - has become one of his calling cards, and it is the most-requested routine ever on the "Bob and Tom" radio show.

Ten-hut! Warren went on to become a cadet at West Point and, his website saucily notes, he "distinguished himself by amassing an impressive tally of demerits and endless hours of pointless marching."

All about stand-up: Warren has left the military behind in favor of the world of comedy. He pops up on shows like "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," and he starts a three-night run tonight at Comix at Foxwoods.
