UPDATE: Kirk and McKinney will not play tonight. Both suspended for violation of team rules. They are not with the team.

Noteworthy

-- This is the Big East home opener for Huskies.

-- UConn is trying to avoid first two-game losing streak this season.

-- DePaul is off to best road start (4-0) since going 5-0 in 1993-94 season. Its road wins are over PC, Auburn, Chicago State and Arizona State.

-- Series: UConn leads, 8-1. Won seven straight including last meeting, 81-67, in 2012 Big East tourney first round. Only DePaul win came on the road on Jan. 31, 2007 – a 66-58 victory.

-- Statistic to watch: Turnovers. Blue Demons forced an average of 22 turnovers in two Big East games.

-- Key match-up: Daniels vs. Melvin, a preseason All-Big East 2nd team pick

-- Hot: Napier is averaging 20.3 pts, 7.3 rebs and 4.7 assists in last three games.

-- Cold: UConn ranked 13th in 3-pt FG percentage (32.3) in the Big East.

-- Napier leads the Huskies in rebounding at 4.2 points per game.

-- Huskies undefeated at home at 7-0.

-- Strange statistic: UConn 1-2 when playing on Tuesday.

-- Up next: UConn visits No. 17 Notre Dame (14-1, 2-0) in South Bend Saturday.
