Two locals graduate from military training

Two people with local ties graduated from military training.

Army National Guard Pvt. Zachary B. Palmer graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo. Palmer is the son of Jeff Palmer, of Mystic.

Army National Guard Pvt. Nathan Havens graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Havens is the son of William Havens, of Groton.
