The Panera Bread at Groton Square Shopping Center at 220 Route 12 has announced that it will be celebrating National Soup Month from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday by donating 10 percent of sales to benefit Groton's Claude Chester Elementary School PTO.

Panera will also hold a soup drive to benefit The Arc of New London County.

Customers interested in participating must print out the flier at www.panerabreadhbg.com/news-and-events/ and bring it. The first 100 customers bringing a can of soup to the Groton cafe that night will receive one pick from Panera Mystery Gift Cards with amounts up to and including $100.
