Timing is everything during Hygienic Weekend - and the truly nimble-of-foot folks will figure out a way to negotiate Friday night's possibilities so they end up in New London's Oasis Pub at 10 p.m. for the annual Pre-Fix concert.
It's a special treat this year. Homeboys Sean Spellman and Thor Jensen of Quiet Life - now working out of Portland, Oregon - will host the evening and perform the opening set.
Up next is Daphne Lee Martin, celebrating with a new band and CD release party for her wonderfully atmospheric sophomore release, "Moxie."
And closing the night will be New Haven's ingenius post-rocksters M.T. Bearington.
