Check oil company prices carefully

Regarding the Jan. 20 article, "With oil, shop 'till it drops," about the huge range in cost of heating oil in the area, I noticed that one company in New London was suddenly charging $4.80 per gallon for automatic delivery at both my Waterford and Ledyard houses.

This is much higher than either the government site or your article mentioned, so customers should look carefully at their bills.
