Film festival for the younger set

The fourth annual Providence Children's Film Festival takes place Feb. 14 to 19 at three locations in downtown Providence.

The festival presents six days of non-commercial films geared to children and youth ages 3 to 18. The festival includes Q&A sessions and filmmaker discussions as well as filmmaking workshops.

Tickets are $5 for children and $7.50 for adults, with family discounts available. Films will be shown at Metcalf Auditorium in the RISD Museum of Art Chace Center, 20 North Main St.; Cable Car Cinema, 204 South Main St.; and the Rhode Island School of Design Auditorium, 17 Canal St. Metcalf Auditorium offers free admission for films and events on Saturday and Sunday.
