What Super Bowl? It's over, people. Focus, now, on the first Sundays at Parlor in the Park concert of the new year.

When is it? It's, ah, Sunday. In the parlor of the Park Congregational Church in Norwich.

Exploring the repertoire: Over several seasons and 23 concerts, co-directors/pianists Gary Chapman and Laura Hibbard have always done a terrific job of fusing composers and works into nuanced and thematic programs that simultaneously feature favorites and more obscure material.

What's up this week? Brahms: Sonata for Violin in A Major, Op. 100 and Sonata for Violin and Piano in D Minor, Op. 108; Amram: Piano Sonata as well as Native American Portraits; Debussy: Violin Sonata.

Sparkling guests: Violinists Charles Sherba and Whitney LaGrange and percussionist Valerie Smalley.

Snacks and conversation! A reception with light refreshments follows.
