    Connecticut Sun announce 2013 schedule

The Connecticut Sun tip-off their 11th season against one of the franchise's greatest rivals.

Connecticut plays host to Eastern Conference rival New York, now led by former Detroit Shock head coach Bill Laimbeer, on May 25 at 7 p.m.

Six of the Sun's first 10 games are at home, and they'll play three back-to-backs this season. They'll also play host to the WNBA All-Star Game for the third time on July 27.

Connecticut will play twice on ESPN2. The first game is at defending WNBA champion Indiana on June 12. The other is a home game against Tulsa on July 2 (8 p.m.)

A few of the noteworthy home games are against Sue Bird and Seattle on June 16, Diana Taurasi and Phoenix on June 29, Candace Parker and Los Angeles on Aug. 6, and Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and Minnesota on Aug. 22. The Seattle game starts at 5 p.m., the rest are at 7 p.m.
