The third-ranked UConn women's basketball team will face shorthanded DePaul today at Gampel Pavilion (3:30, ESPNU).

Anna Martin, DePaul's leading scorer and a two-time Big East player of the week this season, has been out since mid-January with a knee injury. Martin is on the radar of WNBA coaches.

The Blue Demons (17-6) still have forward Katherine Harry, who became DePaul's 28th player to eclipse 1,000 career points and the fifth player in school history with more than 1,000 rebounds.

DePaul coach Doug Bruno assisted UConn's Geno Auriemma last summer with the United States Olympic team.

The Huskies are 21-1 overall and 8-1 in the Big East. The Huskies lead the nation in points per game (82.5), scoring margin (35.5) and field goal defense (30.6). They play at Providence on Tuesday and at Rutgers on Saturday before the showdown with top-ranked Baylor on Feb. 18 at the XL Center.
