After a big success with last year's inaugural event, the Stonington Community Center has announced that it will hold its second annual Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday, March 23.
The event will feature youth, co-ed adult, families, and businesses/community divisions. Teams are comprised of between six and 10 people. Each team receives T-shirt uniforms and are guaranteed to play at least three games. Prizes will be awarded for the winners of each division.
Players and spectators can watch live stream video of the competition from the adjacent auditorium. Last year's event attracted 200 players and 19 teams.
Registration and information about sponsorship opportunities is available at www.thecomo.org. Anyone interested in playing can call the community center at (860) 535-2476 or email Athletic Director Jay Mellow at jaymellow@thecomo.org.
