Compromise may block foolish 75 mph idea

Did I hear there is a proposal for the state to raise its maximum speed limit on some highways to 75 mph? I better contact my legislator and suggest they introduce a bill that will drop the current speed rate to 55 mph.

Then when both proposals are in the hands of the committee, common sense is opt to prevail. The members can turn over to the General Assembly their compromise, an agreement to have 65 mph to be the maximum speed limit on our highways.
