Montville - Casey Sullivan had 19 points and 10 rebounds as St. Bernard School edged Haddam-Killingworth, one of the top teams in the Shoreline Conference, 49-45, in a nonleague girls' basketball game Tuesday.

Kaitlyn Berke had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Saints (12-8) and Brittany Walenta scored 12. Ali Patterson also made three free throws with 30 seconds left to protect St. Bernard's lead.

Kiley Anderson had 15 points for the Cougars (14-4).

In other games:

• Marion Philippe had seven points, 10 rebounds and two blocks for Williams School in a 31-21 loss to Falmouth. Falmouth is 10-8. Kailah Waheed had nine rebounds and four blocks for Williams (5-10).

Boys' baskeball

• Thomas Whipple had 31 points and five steals as Ledyard defeated Stonington, 79-55, to finish unbeaten in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Medium Division. Darnay Gray had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Colonels (17-1, 10-0). Willie Harris had 17 points for the Bears (10-8, 5-5) and Jackson Donahue scored 16.

• Reggie Gaunichaux made two free throws with 3.2 seconds left to give St. Thomas More a 51-50 win over Marianapolis Prep. Gaunichaux finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Chancellors while Qadeer Morgan had 11 points and 20 rebounds.

• Windham Tech led 19-6 after one quarter and cruised to a 73-42 win over Norwich Tech in the Constitution State Conference. Justin Brown and Tom Nicholas had eight points apiece for Norwich Tech.

H.S. gymnastics

• Stonington finished second in the ECC championship meet at Deary's in Killingly. The Bears had 131.3 points in the three-team field and Woodstock Academy won the title with 145.05. Megan McNeil finished second in the floor exercise (9.2) and third in the all-around (36.05) for the Bears while teammate Rheanna Banker was sixth in the all-around (32.4).

Women's basketball

• Three-point baskets by Zilka Navarro and Savannah Boyle were all Mitchell College needed in overtime as the Mariners defeated Southern Vermont, 61-58, to earn a berth in the New England Collegiate Conference tournament.

Southern Vermont's Amber Flagg made two free throws with 26 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Boyle made four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 20 points with five rebounds for the Mariners (6-16, 6-10). Kate Mulloy added 12 points and 12 rebounds and freshman Amanda Garcia had seven points and 15 rebounds.

Men's basketball

• Joshua Ford made 16 of 20 field goals and finished with 33 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals as Mitchell beat Southern Vermont, 93-80, in the NECC. Anthony Epps had 18 points and eight rebounds for Mitchell (12-10, 8-6) and reserve Devonta Mosley added 16 points and five rebounds.

• Gabe Levin had 16 points and 11 rebounds as St. Thomas More downed Navy Prep, 77-51. Duane Notice had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists for T-More and Dylan Haines had four 3-pointers for 12 points.

• Luke Westman had 18 points and seven rebounds as Colby College defeated Connecticut College 76-65 in the NESCAC. Matt Vadas had 29 points for Conn, which finishe 7-17, 0-10. Vadas now has 1,258 career points and passed John Bartolomei (Class of 1985) and Peter Dorman (1984) into sixth place on Conn's all-time scoring list.

H.S. indoor track

• Today's CIAC Class LL boys and girls' indoor track meet has been postponed to Saturday at 10 a.m. at the New Haven Athletic Center.
