Sykes named branch manager of Savings Institute in Groton

Heather Sykes has been named Branch Manager for the Savings Institute Bank & Trust's Groton office. Sykes takes over from Liz Page, who recently retired from more than 15 years at the bank.

Sykes has more than 10 years with Savings Institute, and was most recently Assistant Manager at the bank's Norwich branch. Prior to joining the Savings Institute, she was with Peoples Bank.

She is active with New London's Easter Seals Walkathon, the bank's "Caring & Giving" employee fundraising efforts and Salvation Army Family Holiday Gift Selections.
