Blumenthal to speak at New London Democrats' victory event

New London — The New London Democratic Town Committee is hosting Victory Celebration 2012 March 3 to honor the Democratic officials elected in November.

The honorees include U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, U.S Rep. Joseph Courtney, state Sen. Andrea Stillman, and state representatives Elizabeth Ritter, Ernest Hewett, Elissa Wright, Edward Jutila, Kevin Ryan and Edward Moukawsher.

U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal will be the keynote speaker.

The event will take place at the Great Neck Country Club. A reception at 5 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public. Tickets $50 per person and $90 for a couple.
