The public is invited to attend this free concert, which begins at 4 p.m. at the church, 28 Great Brook Road.

Seven gospel choirs will perform. They represent the following churches: Emanuel Church of God in Christ, of Norwich; Fountain Baptist Church (Silvertones), of Summit, N.J.; Integrity (Gospel Group), of New London, and Vicinity People's Baptist Church, of Newark, N.J.; Miracle Temple Church (Youth Choir), of New London; Mount Olive Church Ministries (Voices of the Mount), of Hartford; and Walls Temple AME Zion Church, of New London.

"I'm just excited about coming and looking very much forward to it," Biggham said Thursday.
