The United States Coast Guard Barque Eagle takes a shake-down cruise in the waters off Race Rock Light Thursday, February 28, 2013. Eagle is departing next week for a training cruise with Coast Guard Officer Candidates and had not been to sea since last September.

The United States Coast Guard Barque Eagle takes a shake-down cruise in the waters off Race Rock Light Thursday.

Eagle is departing next week for a training cruise with Coast Guard Officer Candidates and had not been to sea since last September. On the cruise the crew calibrated the ship's compass and tested the anchor.
