Realtors to hold benefit auction

The Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors will host a benefit auction at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Port 'N Starboard at Ocean Beach Park.

The public event, to benefit the association's Charitable & Education Fund, will also include a raffle, with a goal of raising $14,000.

Funding requests have come from a wide range of local nonprofits, including Alliance for Living, Catholic Charities, Greater Norwich Anti-Bullying Coalition and Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut.

Channel 3's Kevin Hogan will act as auctioneer. The raffle drawing will be 7 p.m.
