Mr. and Mrs. George Grabel of New London are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jeremy Ernest, to Kara Lee Larsen, daughter of Kathleen Murphy Larsen of Glastonbury.

Kara Lee is a 1999 graduate of East Catholic High School in Manchester and attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H. She is currently employed as a personal banker at Webster Bank in Waterford.

Jeremy, a 2000 graduate of St. Bernard High School in Uncasville, is the manager of Michael's Hess Station in Waterford.

A May 25, 2013, wedding is planned.
