3 with local ties graduate from military training

Three people with local ties recently graduated from military training.

Army Pvt. Carleton A. Raymond Jr. graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Raymond, the son of Carleton Raymond, of Dayville, and grandson of Lucy Ellen Hackbart, of Groton, is a 2008 graduate of Robert E. Fitch High School in Groton.

Army National Guard Spec. Luigina T. Facchini graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. Facchini, the sister of Lucia Facchini, of Norwich, is a 2007 graduate of Norwich Free Academy.

Army National Guard Spec. Anthony P. Thibodeau graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson. Thibodeau, the son of Anthony and Susan Thibodeau, of Canterbury, is a 2005 graduate of Griswold High School.
