Eric Snyder, head coach of the Coast Guard Academy women's volleyball team, has resigned after two seasons, athletic director Tim Fitzgerald announced Monday.
Snyder guided the Bears to a 44-20 record, including 14-4 in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference. He led Coast Guard to an ECAC New England Division III Championship and a share of the NEWMAC regular-season in 2011, when the Bears went 26-6 overall and 8-1 in the conference.
"We thank him for his service to the Academy and the volleyball program, and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Fitzpatrick, adding CGA will conduct a national search for a new coach.
