This weekend's CIAC boys and girls' basketball finals will have an Eastern Connecticut Conference flavor to it.
The top-seeded Bacon Academy girls' basketball team will try to defend their Class L title against No. 10 Farmington at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Second-seeded Woodstock Academy plays No. 1 Trinity Catholic of Stamford in Saturday's Class L final at 4:15 p.m.
The rest of the schedule is as follows:
Friday: No. 1 Cromwell vs. No. 2 Notre Dame of Fairfield (Class M girls, 6 p.m.); No. 5 Valley Regional of Deep River vs. No. 23 Weston (Class M, 8 p.m.)
Saturday: No. 3 Granby vs. No. 25 Weaver of Hartford (Class M boys, 9:30 a.m.); No. 1 Capital Prep of Hartford vs. No. 3 Thomaston (Class S girls, 11:30 a.m.); No. 1 Mercy of Middletown vs. No. 2 Lauralton Hall of Milford (Class LL, 6:15 p.m.); No. 1 Fairfield Prep vs. No. 2 Hillhouse of New Haven (Class LL boys, 8:15 p.m.)
Tickets can be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena box office, ticketmaster.com, or ciacsports.ticketleap.com. Tickets are $10 for each of the three sessions. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance in order to cut down on long lines at the box office the day of the event.
