Mystic’s Steamboat Inn gets new general manager

Steamboat Inn in Mystic has announced the departure of longtime general manager Katie Rampellini and the hiring of a new innkeeper, Sandra Chapman.

Rampellini, co-chair of Downtown Mystic Business Association who also has served on the Greater Mystic Chamber Board, departs her hometown to venture on to Nantucket, Mass., where she will serve as general manager of a Lark Hotel Property.

Chapman brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She also has worked in the Stonington Public School system with special needs children.

Steamboat Wharf Co. has also promoted Kristin Hartnett to assistant innkeeper and Rosemary Robinson to property manager.
