    UConn basketball women roll into the Elite Eight

    Bridgeport — Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Breanna Stewart scored 17 points each Saturday afternoon as UConn beat Maryland 76-50 in the NCAA women's basketball tournament regional semifinals at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yards.

    UConn, (32-4), plays Kastine Evans and Kentucky (30-5) Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the regional final. Evans, the former Norwich Free Academy standout, scored eight points to help Kentucky beat Delaware 69-62 in the first semifinal. Former UConn recruit Elena Delle Donne scored 33 for Delaware.

    Stefanie Dolson had 10 rebounds and nine points for UConn, which advanced to its eighth straight regional final.
