UPDATED: I-95 south in Westbrook reopens after truck accident

Westbrook — State police have reopened Interstate 95 southbound in Westbrook after a box truck overturned.

The crash was reported shortly before 6 a.m. The highway was shut down between exits 65 and 64 and traffic was being detoured on to Route 1.

The truck was carrying cheese, police said. The driver of the truck had to be freed from the cab, and was taken to an area hospital.
