On the chart: Wonder if Natalie Cole's concert Saturday at MGM Grand at Foxwoods will be good? Consider the hits she has to work with: "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)", "Our Love," "Pink Cadillac," "I've Got Love on My Mind," "Jump Start (My Heart)," "I Live For Your Love," "Miss You Like Crazy." So I'd say that, yes, odds are in your favor.

Unforgettable ... again: Cole, of course, had huge success with her 1991 release "Unforgettable With Love," on which, through some studio magic, she dueted with her late father, Nat King Cole. The result on the Grammy front was six awards. In 2009, she released the follow-up "Still Unforgettable." It, too, racked up Grammys - two of them this time.

A day of survival and tragedy: Cole - who had been suffering from hepatitis C - was undergoing a kidney transplant in 2009 on the same day that her sister Carole "Cookie" Cole, who had been diagnosed the week before with lung cancer, died.
