Announcing the ‘Tour de Lyme’

Published April 28. 2013 4:00AM

The Lyme Land Conservation Trust will hold its first "Tour de Lyme" fundraiser on Saturday, May 11, with four road routes and two trail biking sections.

Proceeds from the event will support the operations of the Lyme Land Conservation Trust, a non-profit organization which manages more than 3,000 acres of open space.

The race will begin at the Lyme Consolidated School, next to Town Hall on Route 156. The ride options range from 55-mile to 10-mile routes with staggered start times so all riders can return to the starting point at around the same time for a picnic lunch.

Cyclist and team registration is available at www.TourdeLyme.org/register. For information, visit www.tourdelyme.org, email info@tourdelyme.org or call George Moore at (860) 434-4639.
