Published May 09. 2013 4:00AM

Dime Bank announced last week a $10,000 commitment to the House New London program. The Norwich-based bank gave the New London Development Corp., now known as the Renaissance City Development Association, $200,000 to jump-start the program several years ago.

The latest contribution will provide down payment assistance to homeowners with the help of a state affordable housing tax-credit program and a $325,000 check from Connecticut Light & Power Co. The program is being administered by Eastern Connecticut Housing Opportunities.
